Recently we heard from the Mariscals and wanted to share some recent exciting happenings for Chargers SC Clearwater Alumna, Hannah Mariscal.
Hannah played as a Charger for the last six years of her youth soccer career. Her last season was the 2019/20 season with the Chargers CLW B2001 Select team. Before graduating, she committed and has continued to play with the Easter Florida State College Women’s Soccer Team.
The first of the two events is connected with her proud Peruvian family heritage. Hannah was interested in being considered for the Peruvian U20 National team, but that opportunity was sadly postponed for a year due to the pandemic. But this year, after having her game film reviewed, Hannah was invited to attend the National Team Training Camp in Chincha, Peru, for a week early in November 2021.
Then Hannah needed to return to the U.S. to join her college team, Eastern Florida State College, at the NJCAA Nationals in Daytona, where they won the NJCAA Division 1 National Championship Title.
Most players would consider attending a national team training camp as a great experience by itself but to do that plus having her college team win their national championship, all in the same month, are incredible experiences.
Way to go, Hannah!! Thanks for sharing with us!
